Catwalk on expansion spree

Catwalk Worldwide, premium footwear brand, has recently launched its new stores at G7 Mall, Mumbai and at Empress Mall in Nagpur. The new outlets are spread over an area of 5,000 sq.ft and 885 sq.ft respectivley.

Catwalk has chalked out expansion plans and is looking at metros, satellite cities, tier I and II towns as well as international destinations to increase its presence.

By the end of FY 2014-15, the company plans to set up an additional of 190 standalone stores, including franchisees, taking the total retail space to over 125,000 sq.ft with an estimated investment of approximately Rs.550 mn. The company will resort to internal accruals, franchising tie-ups and bank funding for its capital requirements.

Catwalk is targeting a turnover of Rs.5 billion by FY 2014-15. The brand currently has 21standalone outlets and 144 shop-in-shop formats.
