Pepe Jeans to open 45 stores this year

Pepe Jeans, a leading international denim wear brand, aims to open 45 more stores by the end of this year. They currently have 155 stores and aim to tale it up to 200 by 2011.

According to a company spokesperson, Pepe is looking at entering all cities having a population of three lakh and above across the country. Today, Pepe is present in 81 cities across the country and plans to double its geographical presence of exclusive stores in three years.

Pepe is also planning to sign 50 new franchisees this year. Pepe Jeans is a denim and casual wear brand from Europe. The brand has developed its presence in several countries around the world. It was launched in India in 1989.
