Tech startup FourthLion Technologies has forayed into organised retail with Cafe Coffee Day by deploying a customised version in about 250 outlets in Karnataka. To get a deeper understanding of the consumer behaviour, FourthLion has rolled a product called WalkIn.
To study the behaviour patterns, analytics will be used and this will help in personalising the offers. Soon, the newly launched product will be extended in a few more states.
The startup is creating for brick-and-mortar retail what Amazon and Flipkart have for online retail.
Naman Pugalia, CEO at FourthLion was earlier associated with Aadhar and at that time also, he had invested in CCD ahead of its public share listing in November. He feels that elections and retail have similarities: While one is about analysing voter behaviour, the other is about predicting consumer behaviour.
