Shiva’s Salon has expansion plans

Mumbai-based salon chain, Shiva’s, is planning to bring an Italian hair coloring brand,in the Indian market by 2011-2012. “We plan to have international tie-ups to launch the hair colour in Indian salons by 2011-2012,” reveals Vaibhav Karande, Business Development Manager, Shiva’s Salon. The salon opened its academy in October 2010 in Mumbai and has come up with the new concept of ‘Corporate Salon’, which provides hairstyling and grooming to the employees of corporates. “We have tied up with a few companies and their employees can step in with prior appointments and get their services done. We want to avoid walk-in clients, who ever wishes to use our services is required to make an appointment beforehand,” explains Vaibhav. Further, the salon aims at continuous expansion in the coming few years. “We are also working on opening two more branches in Mumbai in the next two years; and launch salons in Delhi and Bengaluru,” he says.
