Nestle dragged to court in UP over sub-standard Maggi

Alleged sub-standard of Maggi, has landed Nestle India and its two sellers in a court in Uttar Pradesh. However, Nestle India has denied the charges questioning the testing standards.
A case has been lodged in the court of additional district magistrate  after Nestle failed to reply to notices after samples were found sub-standard during lab test at Gorakhpur.
However, Nestle says that it has not received any notice from the concerned authorities about samples of Maggi noodles collected from Umesh Chandra, Barabanki. It further reveals that it has also not received any notice from the court.
Last year, Uttar Pradesh Food & Drug Administration took samples of Maggi from the shop of Umesh Chandra in Joshi Tola, which was purchased from Ravindra Traders.
