McDonald’s opened its first restaurant in India in 1996. Locally owned by Hardcastle Restaurants Pvt Ltd (HPRL) and Connaught Plaza Restaurants Pvt Ltd (CPRL), currently the QSR chain has more than 310 McDonald’s restaurants across India.
