American nail décor brand Minx, Inc® has announced that the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has awarded a patent covering Minx’s method of applying a unique non-liquid graphic coating to nails. The patent, US Patent No 7,861,730, entitled ‘Methods and Devices for Applying Solid Nail Coatings to Mammalian and Artificial Nails’, provides protection in the United States for this novel approach. “We are pleased that the Patent Office has recognized our invention and issued this patent,” stated Minx co-founder Dawn Lynch-Goodwin.
