Healthcare sector set for revamp

Must Read

Indian ayurvedic products company, Maharishi Ayurveda Products Pvt Ltd (MAPPL) has launched its franchise model, a first of its kind in the health care sector.
Anand Shrivastava, Chairman and Managing Director, MAPPL says, “It is not infrequent that we read about the withdrawal symptoms of allopathic medicines due to their adverse side-effects. With more and more people becoming aware of the side-effects of modern medicine, Ayurveda offers a natural and holistic healing experience from within. We, at Maharishi Ayurveda, envision a disease-free society. Working towards it, we are looking at aggressively expanding our network through the franchise route. We have launched two models targeting Tier I, II and III cities.”

MAPPL began retailing in 1987 with its propriety product ‘Amrit Kalash’. It comprises a product range of over 1500 products covering herbal medicines, rasayanas, food supplements, beverages, personal care items, cosmetics and more.
