Woodhouse Day Spas, the US-based spa franchise, plans to enter India by launching its first outlet in Ludhiana, Punjab. The company has signed a Master Franchise Agreement with Kay Ghoman, a business connoisseur in the hospitality industry. The flagship Indian Woodhouse location will take over 10,000 sq. ft of Ludhiana’s West-End Mall, one of the finest and most luxurious malls in Punjab, covering an area of 2.2 acres. The Indian spa industry currently boasts over 2,300 spas, generating a revenue of over $384 million annually. Woodhouse Day Spa is one of the largest day spa franchises in the United States with 23 franchisees.
