Jewellery retailer Tribhovandas Bhimji Zaveri has entered East India by opening two showrooms in Kolkata at Camac Street and Kakurgachi on the same day. The stores stock jewellery for both women and men and offers collections including wedding, surprise, necklace, and temple jewellery.

Shrikant Zaveri, Chairman and Managing Director, Tribhovandas Bhimji Zaveri, said: “We are maintaining our retail expansion momentum across key markets and the foray into Kolkata and East India is part of this strategy. I’m happy that Kolkata has the distinction of being the first city where TBZ has opened two showrooms on a single day and this is a rare occurrence in our 150-year old history.”

In the last 6 months, the retailer has opened 3 showrooms in Pune, Mumbai, and Vadodara. It now has 18 showrooms in 11 cities across 6 states including Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, and West Bengal.
