The total numbers are categorised into three formats of the company, Wow! Momo, Wow! Chicken and Wow! China
New Delhi: Kolkata-based QSR chain Wow! Momo has opened over 650 stores across India since 2008, the company said.
As per the data shared by the company, it has opened stores across all its three formats which is Wow! Chicken – 42 stores, Wow! China – 153 & Wow! Momo – Over 460 across 32 cities of India.
Some of these stores are present in Bihar, Delhi, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and West Bengal.
Launched in 2008 by Sagar Daryani and Binod Homagai in Kolkata, The basic idea of the company was to create an experience that would leave their customers with only one word and that is WOW!, says the company website.
Images Retail magazine had earlier reported that the company reported a 2X jump in its revenue from operations at Rs 219.8 crore in the FY21-22 from Rs 106 crore in the previous year and aims to be one of the most profitable homegrown chains in the next three years.
The company also eyes the next stage of its evolution with an IPO, global presence and entry into packaged foods.
