Gold Souk Grande, Chennai to become operational in first quarter of 2012

Developeed by Aerens Gold Souk International, Gold Souk Grande, considered to be one of the largest multi-specialty malls in Chennai has planned  its launch  in the first quarter of 2012 . Spread in the total built up area of 8,00,000 sq. ft., the mall will have five floors with gross leasable area of 6,00,000 sq ft dedicated to hypermarket, anchors, vanilla brands, multiplex, food court, QSR and Ramada Hotel.

"Conveniently located at Vandaloor, National Highway No. 45, Gold Souk Grande has close proximity to Mahindra City and other residential units, IT/ITES, SEZ, BPO companies, educational institutes and the famous Vandaloor zoo which will attract sustained footfalls from over two lakhs residents looking for the ultimate shopping, leisure and entertainment destination. The first phase of the mall will be completed by the first quarter of 2012,” said Subhash Verma, CEO & Whole Time Director, AGIL.

The mall will be maintained and operated by Super Property Maintenance Pvt. Ltd, the exterior design is taken care by Achal Kataria and Rohit Jain while the interiors of the mall are designed by S.Mothinathan. The mall will have 15 lifts &  six escalators provided by Johnson & Co. The mall will also boast of a covered basement parking spread in the area of 2,30,000 sq. ft. which will  accomodate 800 and 600 four wheelers and two-wheelers respectively.

The mall will have a rental model of lease and sale. Other key features of the mall include 182 stores dedicated to exquisite mix of brands, three screen multiplex spread in 33,500 sq. ft. and a food court spread across 10.000 sq. ft. The mall has already signed Spencer and Pantaloon as its anchor stores  along with other brands like Zodiac, Reid & Taylor, Madura Garments, Reebok, Lilliput, Catmoss, Bata, John Players, Avenue Montaigne, Adora and many more.
