Bengaluru: Japanese lingerie brand Wacoal India has launched its latest store at Sky City Mall, Borivali, further expanding its presence in Mumbai, the company said in a press release on Thursday.
Spanning 550 sq. ft. of retail space, the new store will showcase Wacoal’s signature collections across lingerie, loungewear, and sleepwear, offering everyday essentials as well as luxurious options.

This is the sixth outlet of Wacoal in the city, following the launch of its stores at Phoenix Palladium Mall (Lower Parel), Phoenix Market City Mall (Kurla), Bandra, Grand Gallaria (Lower Parel), and Infinity Mall (Malad).
With 18 exclusive stores now operational across India, the brand is on a steady growth trajectory, aiming to open several more stores over the next 12–18 months across major Indian cities, alongside strengthening its e-commerce and multi-brand outlet presence.
Wacoal was founded in 1946 in Japan. The company began its foray into Asian countries in the 1970s, entered the American market in 1985, expanded into Europe in 1990, and eventually opened its first store in India in December 2015.
The brand has established a strong retail presence with over 40 large format stores across major cities like Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Kolkata, and Chennai and also has a presence in over 80 MBOs across 20 cities in India.
