Capital to Power Deeper Penetration in India’s Healthy Snacking Market and Fuel Product Innovation

New Delhi: Farmley, one of India’s fastest-growing healthy snacking brands, has announced the successful completion of its $40 million Series C funding round. The round was led by L Catterton, a leading global consumer-focused private equity firm. Existing investors, including DSG Consumer Partners, also participated in the round.

This investment marks a strategic milestone in Farmley’s journey to redefine the healthy snacking category in India, particularly in the dried fruits and nuts segment, which is projected to grow at a 14% CAGR and cross $8.5 billion by 2031. Rising health consciousness, demand for nutritious convenience foods, and a consumer shift toward branded, hygienic options are driving this growth.

Farmley has carved out a leadership position in the market with its diverse portfolio of clean-label, indulgent-yet-healthy snacks. These include India’s widest range of flavoured makhanas, trail mixes, date bites, and seed-based snacks. With a strong omnichannel distribution and a robust farm-to-palm model, Farmley has demonstrated high growth alongside profitability—reporting 55% annual revenue growth over the past two years to reach INR 370 crore in FY25.

“We are committed to reimagining snacking for the modern Indian consumer,” said Akash Sharma and Abhishek Agarwal, Co-Founders of Farmley. Partnering with L Catterton is a significant step forward. Their global expertise and operational depth will help us scale rapidly, especially as we expand into untapped regional markets, innovate with nutrition-forward product lines, and integrate advanced food technologies.”

Anjana Sasidharan, Partner and Head of India at L Catterton, commented:

“Farmley has emerged as a leader in the better-for-you snacking space. Its innovative product pipeline, robust sourcing network, and strategic partnerships across channels have enabled strong growth. We are excited to support Farmley’s next phase by leveraging our global food and beverage expertise.”

L Catterton has a track record of growing iconic food and beverage brands globally. Its portfolio includes names like Cholula Hot Sauce, Ferrara Candy Company, Goodles, Kettle Foods, Kodiak, Little Moons, NotCo, Planted, and Plum Organics.
