Menswear brand The Indian Garage Co. opens 2nd store in Kerala

Bengaluru: City-based menswear brand The Indian Garage Co. (TIGC) has strengthened its presence in Kerala with the opening of its second store in the state, located at Lulu Mall, Thiruvananthapuram, according to a press release on Thursday.

The brand made its Kerala debut in December 2024, with its first store opening at Lulu Mall, Kochi.

With over 1500 styles to choose from, including streetwear, resort fits, Korean-inspired looks, and boho essentials, the new 1800 sq. ft. store promises an immersive experience for Kerala’s rising fashion capital.

“Thiruvananthapuram is a city that beautifully blends tradition with a forward-thinking youth culture. We’re delighted to bring our bold and accessible fashion to a place that is buzzing with creative energy. The Lulu Mall has been a powerful platform for us in Kochi, and we’re confident the Thiruvananthapuram store will echo that success,” Anant Tanted, Founder & CEO of TIGC.

TIGC was founded in 2012 by Anant Tanted with a team of just four individuals. Today, the company has grown to approximately 400 employees.

The brand targets Rs 1500 crore GMV in the next five years. TMRW, an ecommerce rollup venture owned by the Aditya Birla Group, invested Rs 155 crore in The Indian Garage Co in the year 2023. Operating under the ‘House of Brands’ format, the company boasts three brands under its umbrella: THe Indian Garage Co. (menswear), FreeHand (womenswear) & HardSoda (plus-size menswear).

Its collections are also available online via www.TIGC.in and leading e-commerce platforms including Myntra, Ajio, Amazon, Flipkart, Snapdeal, and UAE-based Noon. Additionally, the brand has a strong presence in over 100 Fashion Factory stores across India.
