Online marketplace Arzooo to launch consumer durables

The marketplace has collaborated with prominent players in electronic manufacturing like Dixon from Amber Group

Mumbai: India’s consumer durable marketplace Arzooo is foraying into the consumer durables category by partnering with prominent players in electronic manufacturing – Dixon Technologies and Amber Group among other players in the segment.

The B2B e-retailer plans to manufacture all of its products in partnerships with manufacturers who will work with Arzooo from product design to manufacturing.

“These strategic collaborations will enable us to bring to market the best-in-class range with product expertise combined with our reach,” said Khushnud Khan, co-founder and chief executive officer, Arzooo.

“We are thrilled to partner with Arzooo Group, which will take our cutting-edge technology and original design manufacturer (ODM) expertise closer to consumers. We look forward to a successful partnership, and in delivering high-quality products to customers across India,” said Atul B Lall, vice chairman and managing director of Dixon Technologies (India) Ltd.

Dixon is among India’s manufacturers making consumer electronics products for some of the brands in the electronics and appliances space, including Samsung and MI.

Along with Dixon, Arzooo also partnered with Amber group, which has expertise in manufacturing large appliances for brands including LG and Voltas.

Arzooo is a Bengaluru-based retail tech platform which is empowering offline retailers with access to over 20,000 products, competitive pricing and working capital along with quick delivery solutions. The company has acquired around 50,000 partner stores.

Given Arzooo’s position in the consumer electronics retail ecosystem with distribution to reach over 40,000 retail stores, it plans to introduce an expansive lineup of innovative products such as smart electronics and home appliances to customers across Tier 1, 2, and 3 cities.
