KFC India appoints Aparna Bhawal as chief marketing officer

Bengaluru:  Fast food restaurant chain KFC India announced the appointment of Aparna Bhawal as chief marketing officer for India and partner countries such as Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Maldives.

Prior to joining KFC India, Aparna Bhawal was the vice president of marketing at Hindustan Times Media Ltd.

KFC is a global chicken restaurant brand headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky. The company was founded by Colonel Harland Sanders in 1930. Currently, KFC operates more than 26,000 restaurants in over 145 countries and territories.

KFC opened its first India outlet in Bangaluru in the year 1995. Today, the QSR fried chicken chain owns over 300 restaurants in 81 cities across the country.
