IKEA appoints Patrik Antoni India’s new Deputy Country Manager

The world’s largest furniture retailer, IKEA, has appointed Patrik Antoni India’s new Deputy Country Manager.
Patrik has been a part of IKEA team almost 15 years and has played an instrumental role across verticals in many countries like Sweden, Portugal, Russia and now in India. He has a wide experience within IKEA ranging from Store operations, Marketing, Expansion, Customer Service and most recently has been Country Communication and Sustainability Manager for IKEA in India for last three years.
First IKEA store in India is slated to open in end of 2017 in Hyderabad.
According to CEO IKEA India, Juvencio Maeztu, “Our recruitment for the store in Hyderabad is in full swing and we will have around 500 co-workers in the store and about 1500 will be employed indirectly.”
He further adds, “ After Hyderabad Mumbai is in line and we plan to open 25 IKEA stores by 2025 in different Indian cities with an aim to offer a wide range of well-designed, functional home furnishing products at prices so low that as many people as possible can afford them.”
IKEA is the world’s largest home furnishing retailer, with 135,000 co-workers and operations in 43 countries, offering a diverse work culture and equal opportunities for everyone.
