Must Read

Renault India and Paytm have recently announced a strategic tie-up that provides customers with another option to book Renault KWID.
Customers can simply book online or pay the booking amount at dealerships with their Paytm Wallets. The partnership is a strategic move by Renault to leverage the growing preference for cashless transactions in India.
All variants of the fast-selling car will be available for booking on Paytm in the Delhi-NCR area at the onset. Going forward, Paytm and Renault will extend this partnership at a pan-India level with other models of the brand also available for booking on the platform.
Renault is the first car brand to forge a partnership with Paytm. Customers now have the option to book Renault KWID for an amount of Rs 10,000 on Paytm, and they can avail attractive offers on the booking within a stipulated period.
As part of the alliance, Paytm will also be installing its mobile wallet payment option at Renault dealerships for higher consumer engagement.
“Innovation is synonymous with Renault and it is reflected in every part of our business, from the way our cars are made, to the way they are presented to the customer. With Renault KWID, we have completely reinvented the traditional expectations of the entry car segment in India, with an offering that is attractive, innovative and affordable,” Head-Marketing Renault India, Virat Khullar, was quoted as saying.
“Through our partnership with Paytm, we will make Renault KWID further accessible to new-age customers who prefer online platforms and cashless transactions, with an easy and proficient experience,” he added.
Paytm has a user base of more than 125 million people, and aims to increase this to half a billion people.
It expects that the car vertical will be the highest growing category in its online shopping platform, and will further build its association with Renault to best suit its customers.
