Lenskart partners Ola to provide free eye check for drivers

Lenskart has partnered with taxi-aggregator Ola to flag off a two week long road safety and driver welfare initiative.
Lenskart is providing free eye check-up camps for tens of thousands Ola driver partners across Delhi NCR to promote road safety.
As part of the initiative, Lenskart will also issue vision check cards to the drivers, post careful examination. Lenskart will also offer glasses at minimal costs to those who wish avail spectacles to correct their vision. The Company is also offering special discounts on the complete range in case driver-partners wish to avail spectacles.
CEO and Founder, Lenskart, Peyush Bansal, said, “With our increasing dependency on cabs for safe and easy commute, it is imperative that cab drivers have spot on vision. With this, we aim to bring special emphasis on road safety and hope to have a successful association with Ola.”
“A good vision is very important to ensure that our driver-partners perform their duties in the best possible manner. It goes a long way in ensuring safety on roads, ” Business Head, North – Ola, Deep Sing said.
The initiative kick started on 4th July and will continue till 16th July at Ola’s offices in Delhi NCR. More than 3000 driver-partners have already visited the eye check-up camps and have benefited from this initiative.
