Brooks Brothers expand retail footprint in India, opens 10th store

American men’s clothing brand, Brooks Brothers has opened its 10th store in India and first store in Noida. Spread over 2,000 sq. ft. area on the ground floor of Mall of India, Noida, Red Fleece store will offer both classic and contemporary menswear wardrobe solutions that cater to all lifestyle needs.
Fit for any age, Red Fleece stores are about an attitude that promotes personal expression. Styled to bridge the gap between classic silhouettes and tapered fits, Red Fleece prides itself as the smarter casual that amalgams both.
“The Indian customer loves color and should find an immediate connect with Red Fleece’s playful spirit, inherent in its bright hues. With more work places endorsing smart casuals as the dress code, the launch of this store is well timed,” Business Head, Brooks Brothers India , Anand Nair, said in a press statement.
In India, the company operates through a JV with Reliance Brands and was one of the first companies to get the FDI approval in October 2012. With the opening of this new store, Brooks Brothers now has total seven mainline stores and three Red Fleece by Brooks Brothers stores in India.
Established in New York City in 1818, Brooks Brothers was the first to offer ready-to-wear clothing and has continued throughout history with iconic product introductions including: seersucker, madras, the non-iron shirt and the original button-down collar. Over the years, Brooks Brothers has dressed 39 out of 44 US Presidents from Abraham Lincoln and John F. Kennedy to Bill Clinton and Barack Obama.
