Carat India, the Dentsu Aegis’ media agency, has appointed Sujata Dwibedy as Executive Vice President for its Rs 550-crore Mondelez business. She will work closely with the Carat’s Asia-Pacific team.
Sujata has over 17 years of experience, and has extensively worked across sectors such as FMCG, telecom, airlines, finance. Prior to this, she was head – business development at Omnicom Media Group.
Sujata was responsible for driving Omnicom Media Group India’s new business development nationally. She worked on business leads across all markets.
Before that, Sujata worked with media agencies such as Starcom India, Vivaki Exchange, Lodestar and the research and information company Nielsen India.
She is known as a high-energy, result oriented person who is hands on and proficient in media planning, media buying, brand strategy, syndicated and customized media research, innovation and integration. She believes that creativity and strategy go hand in hand today.
Sujata is a gold medal awardee in her MBA. She has also done her PGDCA from IMIS, Bhubaneswar.
She holds Diploma in Hindustani Classical and Light Music, Fine Arts (Drawing/Painting) and Crafts and was awarded for her outstanding work during her media buying stint. She is known for working extensively, beyond regular advertising, on AFPs and innovations.
