New Balance Athletic Shoe, Inc (NBAS) , better known as New Balance has inaugurated its store in Noida’s DLF Mall, as its first venture in India.
The famous American footwear brand, based in the Brighton has shown great interest in the Indian footwear market. It plans to increase its store strength by 50 in the coming three years.
“We are looking to open 50 stores potentially in the next three years throughout the major metros, starting with the northern cities. Once we establish our stores in north, we will move to other parts of the country,” VP, Asia Pacific, New Balance, Darren Tucker was quoted by The Economic Times as saying.
Although the company has refused to reveal its investment plans in India, its second store is on its way to get launched in the Pacific Mall Delhi.
The business profit showed by other International brands like Charles & Keith, Aldo, Mango and Guess been an eye opener for this American company. It is looking forward to enter a partnership with similar major brands which values the company’s integrity, team spirit and its ability to offer total satisfaction to its customers.
New Balance has recently entered a tie up with Jabong; the Indian fashion and lifestyle e-tailer has given them a huge platform to sell their products.
