PayPal, the online payment portal has joined hands with OYO Rooms, the largest provider of branded hotels. This new venture will help them source payments from global consumers as well as support Indian customer so that they can make international bookings.
“Growth of new age businesses like OYO Rooms can be further accelerated if they are protected against online payment risks and frauds.” said Hamish Moline VP of PayPal APAC Regional Merchant Services in an Economic Times report.
He further added, PayPal’s technology protects merchants such as OYO Rooms against unauthorised transactions and mitigates associated risks.
Both OYO Rooms and PayPal have agreed that the tie-up will make bookings easy in the South East Asian countries and Malayasia.
