KartRocket the e-commerce solution provider to BigFoot Retail Solutions Pvt. Ltd has raised $2 million from a Japanese investor in addition to $6 million sometime in January. The platform forms a bridge between various enterprises and helps retailers with marketing and promotions.

In September, KartRocket launched its mobile-first online-to-offline marketplace, which would bring together the big and small sellers under product categories of garment and other accessories.

“Keeping in mind Kraftly’s single vision of allowing every seller to participate in e-commerce, the investment will help us with cutting-edge product development talent acquisition, seller ecosystem development and performance marketing.” Saahil Goel, chief executive officer and co-founder of KartRocket said in e-paper livemint report.

Kraftly has owned more than 15,000 shops and plans an addition of 17,000 to its list per day. As per Goel, the small level sellers who mostly work from home don’t have a proper channel to sell their products. Surprisingly our country has more than 50 million such home based entrepreneurs.
