World's oldest salon sets up shop in India

The world’s oldest men’s salon chain Truefitt & Hill, which has groomed the monarchs of Great Britain through nine consecutive reigns and is considered a bastion of style, has decided to make inroads into India.
For over two centuries, Truefitt & Hill, the world’s best grooming salon for men has been offering a wide range of services designed to groom gentlemen to perfection, and now the barbershop has opened seven outlets in Mumbai.
It soon plans to open more branches in the country – Delhi (Meherchand market), Gurgaon (Ameya One), Hyderabad (Banjara Hills), and Bengaluru (Indiranagar, Lavelle Road).

The average store size will range from 1200 to 1700 sq ft with an investment ranging from Rs 1.5 crore to Rs 2 crore. Lloyds Luxuries Ltd, which owns the master license for the chain in India besides other countries like Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Vietnam and Nepal, has also opened an academy in Mumbai where professionals from UK will come and train the Truefitt& Hill staff in India.
Apart from this, they have an online store as well through which the salon promises to bring to India its world-renowned personal grooming services along with its personal grooming range for men – including after-shaves, bath and body soaps and shower gels.
