Amazon's trade-in head gets top post at Kraftly

Kraftly, an O2O (online to offline) mobile marketplace that targets micro and individual seller communities in India has announced the appointment of Akshay Ghulati as its Chief Business Officer.
Launched in August 2015, Kraftly has over 10,000 shops and it adds over 12,000 listings per day.
After an under graduate degree from Wharton Business School, Ghulati joined AT Kearney as Senior Business Analyst in 2004. He left three years later to do an MBA from Harvard Business School (2007-09).
Post his MBA he joined the Parthenon Group and in 2011 he set up a fund with a focus on early stage growth ventures. As part of this he spearheaded the acquisition of an equity stake in India’s 4th National Stock Exchange.
In 2012 he moved on as Director Incubation and Investments at Smile Interactive Technology group – the promoters of flash sales website Fashion&you and jewelry site Juvalia. Then In 2013 he moved as Senior Product Manager Amazon, UK looking after the software and video games category.
In January 2015 he was appointed head of Amazon’s Trade-in program in UK and in Oct 2015 he was made Senior Manager, Amazon Marketplace.
In February 2016 he took over as Chief Business officer and interim COO at Kraftly.
