Planet Fashion, the fashion retail format from Madura Fashion and Lifestyle, celebrated 15 years of its existence with a high-voltage fashion event in Bangalore.
Madura Fashion & Lifestyle launched Planet Fashion, designed as a specialty menswear chain, in 2001 to provide a unique shopping experience to its customers. With 240 stores across 180 towns, Planet Fashion is now the largest apparel retail chain of its kind in the country. The winning retail model has been successful not only in premium locations, but also in smaller towns such as Udupi, Bareilly and Dehradun.With an average store footprint that ranges from 1,500-6,000 sqft depending on location, the format retails merchandise from leading in-house brands such as Louis Philippe, Van Heusen, Peter England, and Allen Solly.
Madura Fashion & Lifestyle, which has the highest market share in the premium men’s wear segment in the country, thanks to the multiple brands under its portfolio, recently also overhauled Planet Fashion’s brand identity to convey a more evolved, sophisticated image. As part of this re-branding exercise, Planet Fashion’s new logo, featuring the ‘Infinity’ symbol in red and white, with a black accent, was also unveiled.
