Leading US casual luxury lifestyle brand is scheduled to enter India in the second half of 2015 via , which has tied up with New York-based , LLC (ABG) to launch the latter’s brand in India. The partnership is looking to launch 20 mono brand stores in India during the first five year phase, starting in Fall 2015, according to industry sources.

The company has not yet formally announced the exact date of opening and the debut city for the brand. While most expect Delhi or Mumbai to be the brand’s launch destinations, it may just be that Chandigarh’s could turn out to be the brand’s port of entry into India.

Juicy Couture has turned into a global seller with their signature velour tracksuits and other fashions that span clothing, handbags, shoes, intimates, swimwear, fragrance, accessories, sunglasses, yoga and babywear.

In October, 2013, Fifth & Pacific, Inc. announced that they would sell Juicy Couture to Authentic Brands Group for $195 million. In June 2014 the company was reported to be closing all its stores in the United States, with the closure expected by the end of June 2015. The company’s 60 international stores remain operating.
