Cremica Food to set up food park on investment of Rs 200 cr

Leading HoReCa supplier and food manufacturer Cremica Food Industries Ltd has planned to invest Rs 200 crore for setting up a food park and manufacturing plant in Himachal Pradesh, which is expected to be operational by the next fiscal. The company is to ramp up its distribution network to 100,000 outlets from current 15,000 and is also targeting at the Rs 1,000 crore turnover by 2020.
Akshay Bector, Cremica Food Industries Chairman and Managing Director was quoted as saying, “To expand our manufacturing capacity, the proposed plant is expected to start its operations in the next fiscal. Right now, we are aiming for Rs 1,000 crore turnover by the year 2020. We are also looking at entering new product categories and also increase the distribution reach.”
The company has been constantly setting benchmarks for the food processing industry through its products, innovative flavours and fillings, internationally certified production facilities and consistent quality. The company is ready to launch mayonnaises, jams and ketchups in this fiscal. Cremica’s product range includes chips, sauces, sandwich mayonnaise, salad dressings and syrups.
