Vodafone opens 493rd retail outlet in MP under 'Retail of Tomorrow' initiative

The country’s second largest telecom service provider, Vodafone India, has opened its 493rd retail outlet in Madhya Pradesh, with the unveiling of the Vodafone Global Design Store at Raghurajnagar, Satna.
The store is in line with Vodafone’s ‘Retail of Tomorrow’ initiative. With this launch, Vodafone has further consolidated its Retail presence in the MP and Chhattisgarh ircle.
“With the increasing use of smart phones, mobile internet and new technologies, the customer is evolving at a fast pace. The introduction of the Global Design Store is an endeavour to provide customers in Satna with a best in class service experience,” the company said in a press statement.
In a separate statement, the company also asserted that it has invested over Rs 1,050 crore in Maharashtra and Goa circle in the last fiscal to ramp up network and expand retail presence.
“We remain committed to continue investing in bringing the best in class, innovative, relevant products and services to win customer delight in the years to come,” Vodafone India Business Head (Maharashtra and Goa) Ashish Chandra said.
Vodafone now has over 5,000 3G sites in Maharashtra and Goa, and over 9500 2G sites in the AP and Telangana circle covering over 95 per cent of the region’s population.
Vodafone is also the only telecom services provider in the country to set up physical presence even in 500-plus-population towns, through the iconic Vodafone ‘Laal Dukaan’.
