Lite Bite Foods expands to UAE

Must Read

Foodservice company, which operates multiple restaurant concepts in India, including Punjab Grill, Zambar, Asia Seven, FrescCo and Baker Street, has made its foray in the UAE market with the launch of Zambar, Coastal Cuisine Kitchen at the Bawabat Al Sharq mall in Abu Dhabi.
Lite Bite Foods’ entry into the Gulf region is the result of a tie-up with Food Quest Restaurants Management LLC, a restaurant master franchise investor and operator developing leading international F&B brands across MENA.
Commenting on the overseas foray, Rohit Aggarwal, Director, Lite Bite Foods Pvt. Ltd said: “We want to introduce the Middle East customers to the unique flavours of coastal cuisines from India. Bawabat Al Sharq Mall has been selected due to its high footfall of Emiratis which will give a good brand direction for the launch of Zambar in other GCC countries in terms of menu and flavour profile.”
“Also, UAE is a fertile ground for brand expansion and revenue growth. It will open up the entire UAE market for us,” he added.
Zambar serves traditional, home-style cuisine from the South Indian coastal region. The menu will be spiced up to craft the sumptuous delicacies from varied cuisines like Chettinad, Kuttanad, Malabar, Coorgi, Mangalorean and Madras curries and vegetables, spanning all four South Indian states.
Lite Bite Foods was a nominee at the recently held Coca Cola Golden Spoon Awards 2015 honours, in the category “Most Admired Foodservice Company of the Year”.
