Smoothie Factory set for India expansion

US-based premium health and wellness café Smoothie Factory, which entered India in September 2013, is set to open its fourth outlet in the country in January 2015. A new 800 sq ft outlet will open in New Delhi’s Safdarjang Enclave area at the SDA Market.

The chain is also scouting for locations in Gurgaon for future openings.

Smoothie Factory, which currently has three Indian outlets, all located in Delhi-NCR, is operational in over 13 countries and was started by a US Olympian James Villasana. The brand takes pride in using only high quality and nutritious ingredients to offer healthier and tastier eating options to the health conscious.

The range of offerings at Smoothie Factory includes real fruit smoothies, freshly squeezed juices, premium frozen yogurts, lip smacking gourmet paninis, salads, waffles and  more. The chain’s chefs use  healthy ingredients for all preparations, including olive oil, lean cut meats, whole wheat or multigrain bread, to name a few.

The chain currently has one outlet each in Nehru Place and Janpath, New Delhi, and one in South Point mall, Gurgaon.
