Experience the Earthy Bliss at Shvasa Spa, Hyatt Regency Gurgaon

Must Read

The area of the Shvasa Spa has separate dedicated spaces for a state of the art fitness facility, heat and water facilities, treatment rooms and a landscaped swimming pool with a children’s pool. The combination of cream with stone – in terms of colours and interior design, gives it a earthy and tranquil feel.

Deriving its name from the Sanskrit word for ‘inspiration’, the spa aims to achieve the balance of body, mind and soul by offering health and wellbeing therapies. The design of the spa is inspired by ancient Indian architectural essence which has unique touches of carved walls and pillars. The tasteful interiors of Shvasa with its Indian architecture essence, transports you to a tranquil and mystical atmosphere of fresh energy. Large mirrors, traditional trellis-work partitions and space separations in the massage rooms infuse a sense of royalty. The minimalistic décor is balanced by fresh white gerberas and bamboo twigs to exude a feeling of being one with nature.

The spa consists of three aesthetically designed treatment rooms where guests can rejuvenate with Western and Indian treatments. Each treatment room has its own private shower and changing area. In addition, the spa has separate male and female changing rooms, steam rooms and locker facilities. The high-energy fitness area offers an extensive range of cardio equipment, weight machines and free weights to ensure a good workout. There is an immense sense of space within the spa sanctuary. A significant feature is the pre and post-treatment relaxation lounge where therapists are happy to interact and detail out treatments for you. Personal trainers provide skilled assistance to all guests.

Services: The Shvasa Spa offers an array of luxury treatments. An extensive day spa menu includes full body massage, body scrub, body wrap, facial, manicure and pedicure-based on Western and Ayurvedic therapies. Specialised treatments like the deep tissue massage, hot stone massage, Swedish massage, Abhayanga and aroma therapies with unique oil blends are amongst the highlights. The wet area facility is complete with a steam room where guests can detoxify, cleanse and relax. June Jacobs is used as the product at the spa. Forest Essentials provides body care products made out of natural extracts and ingredients for treatments. In fact, their June Jacobs Signature Facial is one of the most popular treatments, alongside Swedish Massage and Hot Stone Therapy.

The experience ends with a chilled shower to cool off the skin that benefits circulation leaving one energised and revitalised. The spa and fitness facilities have been planned to accommodate hotel guests as well as day spa visitors from outside the hotel and an exclusive limited membership is available for guests from other parts of the city.
