Savemax Plans to Foray into Haryana

Savemax, a wholesale retail chain, is planning to enter the Northern state of Haryana by opening its first store in city of Karnal.  This will be the fourth store from Savemax across India. Spread across a massive area of 30,000 sq. feet, the Karnal store will will be located at Nirmal Kutia Chowk, NH – 1. Savemax currently operates three stores in Delhi and is also entering Uttar Pradesh this year before Diwali.

Haryana’s first store will be based on wholesale business model, which will primarily focus on Business to Consumer (B2C) and cater to Business to Business (B2B) segment also. There is no need to become a member and anyone can buy from the store. There is no restriction on minimum purchase also.

It will provide wide range of food items like fruits, vegetables and groceries. Apart from providing food items, the store will offer readymade garments, personal and home care products, home furnishing, sports items, cookware, etc. In addition, the store will have an exclusive Live Bakery and a Food Court as well.

Commenting over the development, Vaibhav Singhal, MD & CEO, Savemax, said, “We are delighted to enter Karnal, a prestigious business hub of Haryana. The city is also in close proximity to Ambala, Kurukshetra, Panipat and industrial town of Yamunanagar, which will give us tremendous opportunity to serve not just the customers in these cities but also address a significant chunk of smaller shops, hospitality industry, educational institutions, factories etc.”
