DVAR Forays into Menswear

DVAR, the Luxury Fashion House in Juhu, Mumbai announced the arrival of its festive collection. To make it a wholesome treat, DVAR has now forayed into Men’s wear with renowned fashion designer Digvijay Singh. DVAR Owners- Vijayta V Gandhi and Parth M Sanghavi hosted a fashion preview at the store to mark the inception of the new offering and to celebrate the debut of the designer in Mumbai this season.

The designer presents an exclusive line at DVAR which comprises of bandhgalas, jodhpuri pants, sherwanis, sleeveless coats, shirts, jackets, bandis, achkans for men. The cuts and fits of the designer are innovative and in absolute artistic synchronization with the coloured layered and pleasant features. Digvijay who hails from Ahmedabad has played with bold and basic colours. Silks, cottons, chiffons, Rayon and viscose blends have been used as the fabric which is mainly a mix of Indian & western menswear.

Vidhi Kejriwal, an International shoe couturist also displayed an exciting range of embellished footwear for women. With an ability to customize the designs, Vidhi draws inspiration from modern day living with a contemporary twist. Sequins, leather work, tassels, wood work form part of her collection. Heels or platforms, Vidhi’s shoes can uplift any outfit with ease.

DVAR also presented an astounding collection of Anarkalis, Lehengas, Sari’s, designer clutches and jewellery by various designers making it a one stop shop for all festive and bridal shopping. With an eye for detail, DVAR also takes charge to customize its designs for the consumer.

Speaking on the occasion, Vijayta from DVAR said, “We are very excited to foray into menswear.  The response has been phenomenal ever since DVAR launched and we were flooded with requests for menswear. It was only natural for us as a   luxury multi designer store to stock men’s wear and we are elated to start this new journey with a renowned designer like Digvijay Singh.”

Fashion Designer Digvijay Singh said, “My designs are simple yet unique with emphasis on fine detailing and silhouettes. When it comes to menswear, I believe in creating pieces that is not overpowering yet create a style statement. The blend of fabrics and structured cuts define my style. Absolutely fuss free, I am sure men would sport it and look charismatic.”
