Inditex Group Awards Tyco with RFID Contract

Fashion retailer, Inditex Group has awarded Tyco a chain wide contract for Radio Frequency Identification-based (RFID) inventory intelligence. Inditex has derived value from Tyco’s RFID-based inventory visibility products.

Inditex president, Pablo Isla, noted that the “Implementation of this next-generation technology is the one of the most significant changes ever in how the Group’s stores operate.” Inditex has leveraged the Tyco RFID technology and accurate inventory visibility to support its strategic omni-channel objectives and increased focus on the customer experience. RFID is in operation at all of Zara’s distribution centers and at more than 700 Zara stores within 22 countries.
