Ajay followed his degree as a mechanical engineer from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. He received his executive education in the UK and Singapore. Amalean commenced his career at grass root level, along with intensive professional training in apparel and textile manufacturing. He spearheaded the product development and design facilities at MAS, nurturing the division to become the largest design facility in the apparel sector in Sri Lanka. With over 20 years in operation, marketing, product development and design, he now heads the retail operations in India and Sri Lanka where MAS has launched its own premium lingerie brand.
