Pita Pit Opens Third Outlet in Delhi-NCR

Canadian quick service chain Pita Pit has opened its flagship outlet in Delhi’s Greater Kailash Part I. This is the brand’s third outlet in Delhi-NCR after one each in Cyber Hub & Select CityWalk. The restaurant has a new cafe style format with new additions to the menu.

Spread over 1,500 sq.ft., the forty-seater restaurant has been designed based on the theme of “Fresh Thinking Healthy Eating”.

Speaking on the occasion, Anun Dhawan, Director, Pita Pit India, said: “Considering the canvas here is much larger, we have sampled with innovative materials and classical themes to give the place a lounge cum café effect. The fresh thinking reflects in the design as much as it does in the food Pita Pit serves.”

Pita Pit outlet offers a range of fresh vegetables, grilled meats, premium spreads and cheeses, along with zesty sauces in gourmet sandwiches or the Pita Pit fork-style (salad).

The new menu will also feature pita toasties, pita chips, and new desserts. Freshly pressed juices, green teas and coffees will also be available in the restaurant.

According to the company officials, designed to bridge the gap between a QSR and a cafe, Pita Pit is redefining the format to provide a meal at leisure.

The restaurant also has a living wall – a vertical garden which serves multiple purposes from absorbing ambient sound to cleaning the air. It also serves as an insulator in the winter and has a cooling effect in the summer.

Meal for two at the outlet costs Rs 500.

Pita Pit was launched in India by Mentor Hospitality Private Limited, spearheaded by Ishann and Anun Dhawan. Headquartered in Ontario, Canada, Pita Pit was co-founded by Nelson Lang and John Sotiriadis in 1995.

The brand is present in various countries such as the UK, USA, France, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, Panama, Trinidad and Tobago, and South Korea, with a total count of over 450 stores worldwide.
