Luxury Brand, La Martina, all Set to Make its Indian Debut

India will soon open its doors to luxury brand La Martina. Based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, La Martina will launch its quintessential range to the Indian sub-continent with the opening of a new store at DLF Emporio Mall, New Delhi.

The 1,800 sq. ft. standalone store will offer a comprehensive range of aesthetically tailored clothing, eyewear, technical equipment, leather goods, fragrances and accessories.

Eliana Koulas, Director of Luxus Retail and the Indian franchisee for La Martina, opines: “At La Martina, we approach our business in the same way that a high-goal player approaches the challenge of polo–with passion, devotion and total commitment to excellence. La Martina’s first Store, ‘La Casona’, opened in Buenos Aires in 1984. Since then, La Martina has continued to strategically expand its retail division across North and South America, Europe, Middle East and Asia. The philosophy is simple–walk into a La Martina Store anywhere in the world and you walk into the heart of polo. It’s a community, a lifestyle, a sport and a style choice. Speaking on choosing Delhi as its preferred choice to open its first retail store, Eliana said that La Martina had strong association with vacations and leisure. It therefore made great business sense for La Martina to be at the DLF Emporio Mall in New Delhi.

“We look at this move as a springboard to further investments into the retail markets. We are therefore delighted to establish our presence at the Emporio Mall, the world’s most talked-about shopping destination today. We have re-created the home ‘La Casona’ concept (which means ‘home’ in Argentina) designed to evoke an ambience of coziness, as if they are visiting a Polo champion’s house,” she added.
