Mochi –The Shoe Shoppe Debuts in Patna

Mochi – The Shoe Shoppe has opened its first store in Patna at Kashi Place. Spread over 1,300 sq.ft., the outlet stocks more than 11,400 pairs of casual, formal, party, ethnic and bridal footwear for men and women.

Speaking on the ocasion, Farah Malik Bhanji, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mochi, said: “Patna is one of the most populous cities in Eastern India with the fastest growing youth population. Patna has many important government educational institutions including the IITs and AIIMS which makes it a student and a youth hub, Also it is one of the fastest growing cities for business. With the opening of Mochi, we would be catering to all the fashion footwear needs under one roof.”

According to Jairaj Kapoor, Regional Manager, – The Shoe Shoppe, the new store is expected to drive customers from Patna City, Kankar Bhag, Patliputra, Boring Road, Raja Bazaar and Ashiana.

Men’s shoes at the store are available by brands such as J Fontini, Florsheim, and Reebok and priced between Rs 1,490- Rs 4,990 while Mochi and Haute Diva representing the ladies footwear range costs Rs 490 to Rs 4,990.

The footwear retailer has over 76 outlets in more than 35 cities. The first Mochi store opened in 2000 on Commercial Street, Bangalore. It also retails handbags, mobile cases, belts, socks, shoe care and foot-care products.
