Located at Andheri West in Mumbai, BBPro International Academy of Beauty aims to enhance the creative skills of students who want to make a career in beauty and wellness industry. Talking about the inception of the academy, Jo Rego– Academy Director believes that India is growing in terms of brands and products but complete education still lacks.
She said “At BBPro Academy, we have developed unique forms of training along with modules and material to help full-fledged trained personnel for the industry. It took us almost a year to develop and execute the idea on the basis of research, scrutiny and conduct.”
Spread over 3,000 sq.ft., it has rich white interiors that extends an elegant and posh look. The space is designed in a way where the fixtures and furniture are flexible to be maneuvered as per the training needs. No set benches and no lined up chairs.
The academy is well designed with dedicated rooms for particular needs. It also houses a well stocked inventory of bridal jewelry and accessories. BbPro has its own premises with a fixed location, fully furnished operational with modern equipment and technology.
It has different classrooms for training on different aspects such as hair, skin, make-up, et cetera. Also, classrooms are well equipped with latest gadgets and products thus enabling a student complete comfort of learning professionally.
BBPro International academy of Beauty counsels students to help them decide their significant course. The academy also provides provisions for student lockers, student kits, sufficient anti-glare lights, sound proof interiors and visual coaching amongst other things. Apart from the traditional sessions, the academy also organises workshops and one day courses for the students.
The academy has a team of professionals who train the students. Rohit Singh, who has worked with various brands, professional celebrities, and corporate make-up artist heads the make-up training and education department. Jaycee handles the hair department and has years of experience in hair treatments, colour and styles.
It plans to introduce part time, short term, and long term courses. It will also has guest faculty with exclusive seasonal one day/weekly workshops. The modules are specifically designed along with the training calendar with inputs from basics to the latest trends and advanced training material.
Eligibility: No preference, but a student should understand English and Hindi laguages. For advanced course a student should have previous experience.
