Natural Good Looks

Even in her t-shirt and lounge pants, it is hard not to notice how ethereally beautiful Katrina Kaif is. The British-Indian Bollywood diva, Kaif is one of the few ladies in tinseltown who look beautiful and flawless with or without make-up. Her skin is buttery smooth and glowing. “While I was working out before this also, but for Dhoom 3, I had to up the ante. Yoga has really helped me,” declares Kaif.

I Work Out

I have always started my day with three to four glasses of water. Swimming, jogging and working out in the gym have worked wonders for me– the blood circulation gets a boost and skin feels healthier.

Spa Sense

For me, foot massage is the favourite pampering treat. I do frequent the spa at The Oberoi occasionally and also Farida’s in Bandra for a face and body massage, but I prefer the spas in London and whenever I am there, I make sure that I make a trip to a few of them. If I am in need of an emergency facial, I use Anne Semonin’s Mineral Mud Mask. I am also addicted to their Purifying Apricot Oil.

Less Make-up Means Better Skin

A beauty rule I never forget is to cleanse my face off all make-up before going to bed. I use a face wash by Mene & Moy, Lancome’s Cleansing Milk and Shu uemera’s Skin Cleansing Beauty Oil. My skin behaves well if I use less make-up. In fact, my look for the upcoming season is traditional, with emphasis on the eyes using my MAC Kohl, keeping cheeks and lips neutral with only a tough of sheen using Laura Mercier’s bronze highlighter and a MAC lip gloss in nude.

Same goes for my hair. My party quick fix is a blow dry but I do use Kerastase products – it is easier to style them that way. Kiehl’s Olive Fruit Oil Deeply Respiration Hair Pack also works wonders on my oft-abused hair.

Stick to Hairstylists if You Don’t Want to Damage Hair

I only trust Asif Ranjan and Sapna Bhavnani with styling my hair. They know what my hair is like and would not experiment with too many products on it. I am so loyal to them for this very reason! Also, they use only paddle brushes on my hair – which is rather fine and not so prone to damage.
