IFF 2014 to Take India’s Fashion Quotient to the Next Level

Distinguished retail industry stalwarts such as , Chairman, IFF and Joint MD, Future Retail; , Executive Director, Arvind; , Fashion Designer; and Shri Gera, Director General, NIFT will come together to share great insights on trends forecasting, creating great designs, sourcing ingredients, building scale and innovation, visual merchandising, marketing and retailing on day one of the upcoming India Fashion Forum 2014.

The inaugural session, “Agenda for a Fashion-Forward India: Nurturing the Ecosystem from Fashion Creation to Retailing for Powering the Next Wave of Fashion Consumption,” at the two-day event to begin on 17th January at Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai will aim at taking India’s fashion quotient to the next level.

All stakeholders of the fashion community – textile manufacturers, designers, apparel manufacturers, fashion brands, retailers and fashion real estate will discuss the need for the whole fashion ecosystem comprising yarn-to-shelves and products-to-retail trends to grow by leaps-and-bounds in a much faster and coordinated manner.

In sync with the mission and theme of IFF 2014, i.e., Forecast, Create, and Transform the Business of Fashion; and Nurturing the Retail Ecosystem for a Fashion-forward India, respectively, the inaugural session will set the fashion ball rolling in the right direction.
