Chaayos, a home grown chain of tea cafés, has launched its third outlet in Gurgaon at Galleria Market. Chaayos’ first two outlets are located at DLF Cyber City, and Infospace SEZ (near Udyog Vihar). All the outlets put together, witness a daily footfall of more than 1,000.
“We plan to expand the brand and plan to add to 8-10 more chai–cafes in the NCR region by the year 2014” says Raghav Verma, Director at Chaayos.
Some of the popular tea variants at Chaayos, include adrak, tulsi, kali mirch Chai with 25 ml milk and half sugar.” In addition, Chaayos offers a broad range of Indian and international sandwiches, customers swear by “2 minutes Maggi sandwich and one Calorie sandwich, and finger licking street food such as Keema Pav and Vada Pav.
Chaayos has been founded by an IIT-Bombay graduate, Nitin Saluja and IIT-Delhi graduate Raghav Verma in November 2012. Chaayos is owned and operated under the holding company Sunshine Teahouse Pvt Ltd. Chaayos offer fresh, gourmet, customised chais in a relaxed ambience, including Desi chai which can be made with an option of 12 add-ons, Indian specialty teas like God’s chai and Pahadi chai, and exotic teas such as Moroccan Mint and Camomile tea.
