Nitin Chawla, inspired by the Samurai warrior, had a heavy winter line of blousons, biker’s jackets, causal trousers and printed shirts. Ethnicwear from Manish Malhotra revolved around Patiala salwars and kurtas with matching Bundis.
Sabyasachi Mukherjee as well as Shyamal and Bhumika brought the heavily embellished sherwanis for wedding trousseaux. Sabyasachi also had breeches with short Jodhpuri jackets. For real drama, Shantanu Goenka’s ornate sheer chogas over loose pants were daring additions to menswear, while Rajat Suri presented an innovative look at formal male dressing with golden additions and asymmetric cuts.
