FMCG company Amrapali Biotech will be opening a plant at Buxer in Bihar for manufacturing cornflakes. The nutritional cornfl akes will be marketed all over India, and will target all age groups. Says P K Singh, VP – Sales & Marketing, “We have developed an extensive range of products under the Mum’s brand keeping in mind the needs of all age groups. Our nutritional cornflakes will appeal to all age groups, and they will be retailed at affordable price points.”
Amrapali Biotech has been providing quality products for over 5 years. Mum’s is present in 20 states of India in both general and modern trade.
“We are planning to expand our reach to tier 2 and tier 3 towns in the FY 2014-2015. Our new plant at Buxer will be operational from the last quarter of 2013. There will be 6 units for producing cornflakes. We are also coming up with a number of new products such as juices, and many more,” informs Singh.
The company plans to achieve a turnover of Rs100 crore in FY 2015.
