Shaman College is associated with the British Association and the certificates are internationally recognised. It has visiting faculty from esteemed brands like Schwarzkopf, Wella and L’Oréal. Most of the professional salons in and around Bangalore boast of employees who have passed out from this college. The USP of this college is that classes are kept small to ensure individual attention and growth.
The Courses
There are a wide range of diploma and certificatetraining programmes on offer, which are full-time and part-time as well. Student assessments are made via course work and exams. It offers a six to eight months course of Professional Beauty Course, Applied Aesthetics, Beauty Culture (Facials), Electrolysis and Hairdressing which covers body massage and body technology. It also has electrolysis and hair care techniques in the duration of this course. Each individual subject is given a full month of training time to provide the students with maximum exposure. Cosmetology is a two-day training programme where students are taught how to make herbal cosmetics, which includes how to make different types of face creams, astringent, skin toners, and more. There are also courses in Aroma Therapy, Salon Management and Teacher’s Training and Professional Make-up.
Eligibility
Applicants must have a high school certificate or equivalent. Students are only accepted after a personal interview.
Fee
Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 35,000.
