Cosmetics and toiletries retailer The Body Shop has tied up with Lifestyle to open its first shop-in-shop at Lifestyle – Metropolis Mall, Gurgaon. The outlet offers products across skin care, bath and body, make-up, hair, fragrance, gifts, and accessories. This is the retailers 82nd store in India.
Speaking on the occasion, Shriti Malhotra, COO, The Body Shop India, said: “We are excited to develop an association with one of the biggest retail companies in India – Lifestyle. We hope this association will be benefiting to both the companies as we collectively believe that there are a lot of opportunities in the market providing a vast potential for growth. We are extremely pleased and believe that we shall be getting a good response from the customers for this alliance”.
The store will offer promotions, free make-up application and consultation, and skincare consultation along with free sampling of products.
According to the company officials, The Body Shop products are made with natural ingredients and never tested on animals.
Lifestyle International was incorporated in India in 1999. It is a part of USD 4.7 billion Landmark Group (Dubai). The retailer comprises Lifestyle stores (Large format Departmental stores), Home Centre by Lifestyle (Home Improvement stores) and Max (Value fashion chain) along with International fashion apparel brands Splash, UCLA and Bossini. Currently, there are 33 Lifestyle stores, 13 exclusive Home Centre by Lifestyle and 6 Splash stores across India.
