Sanrio launches Hello Kitty apparel collection in India

South San Francisco-based designer and distributor of character-branded stationery, school supplies, gifts, and accessories, Sanrio has launched its “Hello Kitty apparel” in India in association with Twenty One Fashion Studio as its licensee and distributor.

Hello Kitty apparel will offer collections such as Wall of fame, L’amour vintage, Arctic fever, L’il wild things, and Ethnicity.

Twenty One Fashion Studio, a Sharaf Group venture, holds the Hello Kitty licence for apparel, accessories, toys and games, footwear, watches, health and beauty, bed and bath, food and beverages, and furniture in India.

Creator of Hello Kitty, Sanrio claims to have created and licensed over 400 characters.
